Development background
By recent development of IT industry, the diverse data transmission and wire/wireless communication network have been largely expanded and the related communication facilities including the emergency power supply and batteries are widely employed. Large-capacity batteries are indispensable for the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) in data processing center, factory automation and monitoring facilities of DCS. For reliable and durable operation of the machine, the diagnosis of battery life is highly required. The large- capacity batteries that are currently adopted in data processing computer center or factory automation consist of over 100 cells connected in string and operated in constant floating charge state. Accordingly, once a cell connected in string is depleted, the relevant battery cannot perform its function during accidental power failure. Thus, the depletion of composing cells is to be regularly verified.

New Technology(IBEX-2000 & iPQMS)
Adopted with the world's first ripple-removing algorithm, the system precisely measures realtime properties, such as voltage and current of emergency power supply lines, charging and discharging voltage and current, inner impedance, cell voltage and temperature of batteries. It measures the inner impedance of batteries in floating charge with the precision of 짹 2.0%. Reliability of the system has been verified by diverse international certifications, such as ISO quality certification system, and reliability verification tests of end-users, such as Korea Telecommunication.
